Heating was off during a snow storm! Had to call reception on multiple occasions to get it turned up. When we left to go and pick up food it was turned off again! So once again I had to call and ask them to leave it on as the weather was terrible and the hotel is located close to the docks where it’s colder due to the water and breeze. Also the carpet had not been hoovered, bits of tissue and paper everywhere Bed was comfy and bedding was decent so not all bad.

Room was clean and in good condition. Staff at reception lovely and helpful. Wish I’d realised there is no breakfast available and we had to go to the weatherspoons across the road - usually this would be ok but it coincided with the Santa Dash so it was mobbed with weary runners. Also in a noisy area of the city with banging music till 1am and sirens. However, very handy for the station, shopping and entertainment.
