The room was tidy, but I wouldn't say spotless. The staff were nice, polite, and very helpful.
The room was really cozy and clean. The only negative thing was the really low water pressure in the shower. Other than that we had a great stay.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. All the staff that we met were friendly and helpful. The hotel appears dated but the more you look around the communal areas it was quite quaint.
It is a couple of miles outside the city centre but ideal for us as we were visiting friends in the Kensington area of Liverpool.
Staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming and helpful for our whole stay. The facilities were solid, and though the deposit was a surprise, it was quickly returned.
Small concern with the area, but I had no further issues, but I enjoyed it.
Worst experience so far in UK .There was no internet was down all stay .Heating system was off ,had to wait in cold for some time to get heat back .Bathroom draining was not properly working ,it was uncomfortable to have a shower .
Friendly hotel with great welcome from Trisha. Helpful staff in all areas, especially Tristram in the bar. Not a modern hotel, but clean, friendly and comfortable
