I showed up at this location and there was a sign on the door stating ‘Closed due to failure to pay state taxes’. There was no warning, no number to call, no help of any kind. Luckily, hotels.com came to the rescue and helped me find an alternate location close by. But stay away from this place!

The new change of this hotel was very shocking. The hotel itself was good. I was disappointing olny to find out that no breakfast was being served. And along with thinking that the Resturant/Bar was available. And only to fine out that you have to request for a Refridgerator/ Micowave. So an update online would help out. So please update your information, so the it will be clear on what you are paying for. Overrall, the hotel is nice and the staff was very helpful with explaining everyrhing.

DO NOT BOOK!!!! My husband and I booked for overnight stay and was unable to use due to condition and lack of cleanliness of room!!! Dried urine trail on bathroom floor. Staff did not offer to clean room or reassign room. Sent email to hotel site requesting refund of our payment of $97 since we spent a total of 5-10 mins in room and have received NOOOO CORRESPONDENCE.

Not only was the room not very clean because there was hair and dirt and stains and residue on the walls and floor, there was a disgusting smell from the sink along with so many gnats coming out of it and the TV did not work in the room nor the room phone did not work and the Wi-Fi was very low on connectivity. My bathroom door locked me out and it took 15 minutes to get anyone to come up because nobody was at the front desk to answer the phone from my cell phone and the room phone did not call out and it was near midnight and by that time I only had the potential to get five hours of sleep before teaching online classes. The bed wasn’t the most comfy either and I was paranoid gnats would fly into my mouth bc they swarmed around me while I tried to sleep.

The manager was not accessible by phone or on site making it difficult for me to make new arrangements. The first room we were assigned had gnats flying around the sink which reeked of sewage/toilet smell. The staff put us up in a 2nd room where the bedside desk fell on my foot (as it was a 50 lb object being held into the wall with 3 x 4-inch screws.) To report the damage, I had to go downstairs in person as the phone in my room was disconnected (on purpose.) I reported the damage which seemed to amuse the staff After verifying the damage and reaching the manager, we were put up at a 3rd room which was the best. The restaurant was closed at the time of our stay, but the hotel did offer some free snacks and water. I am a patient individual and even reviewed my satisfactory stay with Frederica at the time of its renovations in 2018. The hotel staff was friendly that year and the complimentary breakfast was satisfactory. I would say that visit was better despite the dust and inconvenience. I don't recommend staying here. Just Terrible.

Nice stay

I really like the hotel and was happy with my stay. Building needs some maintenance work, not really bad issues. Much of the city closes after 8pm and normally if you want to get something, you get it from the vending machines at the hotel. Many of the machines were out of order, don't know if it was bad planning but the conference I went to was the biggest one they have in city. Thought everything would be working for an event so large. I was disappointed that they didn't have the breakfast anymore. The staff in the building was great, friendly and very helpful. I thought my stay was great even with some of the issues. Room was clean and great location and price.

The restaurant/ bar was never open, they did not offer anything other than coffee for breakfast. It would be a much nicer place to stay if those two things were available. For those reasons I would not recommend staying here. Also the tub was extremely slick, and I almost fell getting in the shower.

Historic property with a contemporary update!

Spent a few days on a business trip. You can see the time, effort, and resources that have gone into this historic property. Very conveniently located to the Little Rock Courthouse (directly across the street). Still things on the list like carpets. Very much enjoyed the stay and would return again and again.

I was very dissatisfied with the check in process. My AX card was charged 3 times and was told I had to wait 3-5 business days for the funds to be reimbursed to my card. That’s unacceptable in today’s world especially when you book online. Other than that the property was excellent.

The hotel was not very clean. The carpets were really scuffed and kind of gross. My main complaint is that breakfast was not included. There was none whatsoever. When booking, it explicitly said free breakfast, but the front desk informed me they don’t offer breakfast.

Very nice boutique hotel with historic charm. Rooms need more easily accessible outlets for charging cell phones, tablets and other tech, though. We found ourselves searching for outlets due to the lamps, etc. being plugged into the strip on top of the in-room desk. But besides that, everything was nice.

My girlfriend has visited several times before me and told me about the place being renovated. I was a bit skeptical upon arrival, but when I saw our room I was more than pleased! Almost exactly like the pictures!! Our amenities were supposed to include free breakfast, but instead we were directed to the new restaurant. It was only $7.99 for a big plate of whatever we wanted so I was totally okay with it.

It’s an old historical hotel with some updated finishes but it’s nothing fancy. The bed squeaked with every suddle movement. The water runs out slow and toilet flushed slow. Overall not bad for the price and location to book at the last minute.

The property manager was excellent, so friendly, helpful and quick to get me checked in. I forgot a charger and she found me one. I travel to Little Rock often, I will definitely stay with them again.
