We had a wonderful stay at Wine & Books. We started our 2 week tour of Portugal with 3 nights here and we kept saying, 'can we go back?', it was so delightful. Rooms were very clean, staff all helpful, friendly, and the food was spectacular. The gym was also a good touch. We just can't wait to stay here or in another W&B soon. Absolutely recommend you stay here.

The hotel itself was a very nice boutique hotel BUT the rooms we had were minuscule and in some cases the toilet and shower was at one end and the vanity and sinks and another end. And no place to unpack our clothes. There was no bar. There was no pool… BUT there was a laundromat across the road. Food was excellent.

Comfy bed, nice room, fab breakfast. Demanded 30Euro per person per night deposit on arrival and were quite sneery when I queried its purpose and pointed out it's wrong to ask tired people for an unexpected 240Euro to access the room they already paid for.
