Our first time to Portugal

It was really wonderful. Cleaning staff was kind. This was our first time trip overseas and we feel it was as good as it could be. Parking was a nightmare every night-they need more parking or a close off site place-it was a complete stress! The rooms were nice but there was not enough space for two people. And it was disappointing when we weren’t allowed to swim in the cool indoor pool because we didn’t have swim caps (of course we could buy them but these kinds of trips add up!) I think they should have been provided. But this was a great area, the beach was beautiful even with the fog coming in and out. Staff was helpful whenever we needed the help. We would stay again.

We had a great time at Vila Gale for only a few days. The location is amazing and the hotel has plenty to offer, including a rather nice gym for a hotel and 2 large pools that are super nice, as well as a steam room and a sauna. Everyone there was super nice, service was a little slow but it was really busy so no real complaints, breakfast was alright. If we're ever back in Ericeria, and we really hope we will be, Vila Gale will certainly be high on the list of where we'll be staying!

Beautiful property over looking the sea on top of a huge rock formation and a cliff along the side- The property is in a beautiful village town. The room with the balcony was amazing The only thing I would suggest is that the room might need a little bit changes - remove the rug, put tile floors or wood floors and maybe add an area rug. The service was great. Everything was clean. The breakfast was very good. We felt so good here and comfortable in this beautiful fishing village town, I will come back here again.
