Felt safe. A lot of shopping and dining very close. Staff was nice. When we booked it included free breakfast. Breakfast was good. Pancake machine, fruits, juices, coffee and some danishes. Room was on the smaller size but was fine for our stay. We were going on a cruise so room size wasn’t a concern. Could have walked to the cruise port from the hotel, but we were doing a 15 day transatlantic so we had a good bit of luggage and the side walks aren’t smooth so it would have been some effort. So many food places real close. Our favorite was the time out market. I think it’s about a 10-15 minute walk but well worth it. 20-30 little places to eat drink under one roof with open seating in the middle. There is a train station 4/5 blocks away. We took it to Sintra to explore a castle. Well worth it.

This is an amazing place for short stay. I say "Short" because the rooms are not very big. For a just a few days stay, you cannot find a better place for the price in my opinion. Everything about the place exceeded our expectations. Well done to the staff and the management!

The location was perfect. Baixa-Chiaro metro station is around the corner, Rossio train station is 5 min walk away. Also many good restaurants are 10 mins away by walking. The room and bathroom were clean and bed was comfortable. Definitely recommend for a solo traveler but it is too small for 2 or more people.

Cannot fault this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and towels changed every day. Location is excellent, short walk from the metro station, loads of restaurants close by. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel but there are a few places nearby (less touristy ones) and there is a great bakery on the corner too. The complimentary port in reception was very gratefully drunk by us and it was lovely. Would stay here again.

Major issue with the elevator caused me to be trapped in it for 2 hours before the technician arrived. No apology or offer of any compensation from the hotel made the whole experience that much more unacceptable. Room was very small and the single slope ceiling was low and claustrophobic, having to crouch down to access half the already small room.
