Enjoyed two weeks at Margarida’s nice apartment, which is in a great location for exploring Lisbon and beyond. The 28 tram is around the corner, buses stop at the front door and Santos train station is a 10 min walk. Would stay again!

In a fabulous part of the city. Walking distance to water front and train station.

4 flights of stairs a bit much but we made it. Neighbours were night owls so did disrupt our after midnight sleep but apartment itself was wonderful.

Property is on the top (4th) floor and there is no lift. Building itself is pretty old and not in good condition, there is a bad smell in the common areas. Apartment is partially renovated, there is no housekeeping. There is a washing machine but no dryer function.

Amazing Stay

Margarida was an excellent host. So great at communicating and super helpful and accommodating. The space was perfect for our family and the location was amazing. We were 2 adults with a 3yo and an infant. 10/10 would highly recommend.

Great location

We loved the location of our Lisbon flat. We were able to walk everywhere that we wanted to go, we were near wonderful restaurants and were comfortable in the evenings sitting around visiting and playing cards. We would be pleased to stay there again.

Great for families

The apartment was great for our family of four. Plenty of room to spread out and the washing machine was nice to have. There is not a dryer but there is a clothesline outside of the kitchen. The location was close enough to the main tourist destinations to walk but far enough away to be nice and quiet at night. The apartment is on the top floor (4th floor, 5th floor if you count the ground floor) and there is not a lift/elevator. This wasn’t a problem for us but if you don’t travel light it may not be ideal. Overall, great stay.

Excellent location in central Lisbon

The apartment was very easy to locate. Short journey from Lisbon airport. Location is great and everything is in easy reach. Very short walk to Time Out Market. The 28A tram stops a couple of minutes walk away. There are cafés and restaurants within a short walking distance and many more within a slightly longer walk or tram ride. The apartment is close to multiple public transport options. We took advantage of the Viva Viagem card and travelled by metro, bus and tram for €6.60 a day which was amazing value. The down side of being so central was that it tended to be a little noisy at night with cars, teams and planes - however this did not soil our trip and wouldn't prevent us returning.

Wonderful stay

Margarida was a fantastic host. She met us at the property and gave us helpful advice and recommendations. It was very easy to communicate with her. The apartment and location were perfect. It was easy to explore Lisbon on foot and if we needed public transport, trams and buses were very close. We would love to return to Lisbon and stay in this apartment again.

Wonderful Hostess

We have a lovely stay in Lisbon. The hostess arranged transportation from the airport and met us at the apartment. She allowed an early check-in. The location is a bit off the beaten path, but we found lovely cafes, grocers, and restaurants within walking distance. We also appreciated the quietness of the neighborhood. We Ubered often, which suited us. Uber is extremely fast and economical in Lisbon. The only concern for some guests may be the stairs.

Fantastic Stay

We had a lovely stay, perfect for 4 adults has everything you need. Close to public transportation and walking distance to many attractions.There is a restaurant and a cafe right outside the door! Beautiful view of street from our window. It is on the 4th floor no elevator but that didn't bother us. More pastries to eat! Margarida is a wonderful host, great communication very helpful! Lisbon was amazing! I would highly recommend this apartment!

Beautiful Apartment

We loved our stay in this beautiful apartment. The location was excellent for walking or taking public transportation to the various sites to see. The apartment is so clean, calm, and relaxing. It was the perfect place to relax after a long day of exploring. Margarida was an excellent host and gave us some great tips for exploring Lisbon and the surrounding area.

Let me start by saying Margarida was wonderful! She responded quickly to questions before our trip, gave possible itineraries for our stay and helped provide transportation to and from the airport. These things helped to take the stress out of our travel. We had a very short visit but the location of the apartment was great because we were able to walk to everyplace! Be aware that this is a fourth floor apartment with no elevator.

Great host, great location to explore old Lisbon

My family and I spent 4 days in Margarida's apartment, and really enjoyed it. The location is fantastic - near enough to walk to the waterfront, through Chiado, to the Castle, Praca das Flores and Jardim da Estrela etc, and yet tucked away enough that you don't feel you're in the middle of hordes of tourists all the time. The kitchen was simple, but sufficient, especially with all the great bakeries and restaurants in the area (it's a good thing Lisbon has so many hills!), and Margarida was very responsive, with answers to any questions we had and quick solutions for any issues. The street noise could be a bit loud some nights if the windows were open... but that is just part of being in a big city with an active nightlife. The apartment is on major bus routes, so easy to get places, and only about a 20 - 25 minute walk to the Rossio train station for adventures further afield. We thoroughly enjoyed our time on Avenida Don Carlos I... muito obrigado, Margarida

Sehr gemütliche, saubere, gut aufgeteilte und liebevoll eingerichtete Wohnung, in der man nach einem schönen Tag in Lissabon entspannen kann. Die gut ausgestattete Küche ermöglicht es, sich selbst zu verpflegen, wenn man das möchte.Wie in den anderen Bewertungen schon zu lesen ist, liegt die Wohnung weit oben und es sind Flugzeuge und Geräusche von der Straße zu hören - das sollte man einkalkulieren. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, uns hat dies nicht gestört.Die Kommunikation mit Margarida ist sehr unkompliziert, proaktiv und schnell. Wir würden jederzeit wieder buchen. Herzlichen Dank!

La estancia ha sido muy buena, la casa es bonita conservando los detalles. Muy limpia y con todo lo necesario para pasar una semana. Buenas vistas.No hay que olvidar que es un cuarto sin ascensor y por las mañanas es un poco fría, costaba calentarla con el aparato del aire acondicionados. Tolle kleine Altbauwohnung unweit der Bairro alto

Wir waren mit insgesamt drei Erwachsenen und einem Kleinkind (2 Jahre) für drei Nächte in dieser Unterkunft. Alles war da was man braucht, direkt vor der wohnung gab es eine Bushaltestelle mit verschiedenen Buslinien. Zu Fuß kam man schnell in die bairo alto, Supermärkte waren ebenso schnell zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Wohnung war sauber und ausreichend groß für 3-4 Erwachsene. Achtung aber wer nicht so gut zu Fuß ist... Man muss ca 80 Stufen nehmen um die Wohnung im 4. OG zu erreichen. Außerdem war es nachts trotz verschlossener Fenster noch sehr laut durch Straßenlärm Nichts für empfindliche Ohren. Ansonsten aber sehr zu empfehlen. Die Vermieterin hatte auf unseren Wunsch hin auch einen pickup Service vom Flughafen organisiert. Verlief alles reibungslos.

Cozy small apartment in the center if Lisboa

A wonderfully small, cozy apartment for up to 5 people. It is very conveniently located in a beautiful house on the 4th floor in the center of Lisbon near the government building. We would love to come back
