This was by far one of the best hotels that we stayed in visiting Portugal and I would gladly book at the same place again I also actually wish I could have stayed here for my entire day that's how well-maintained and peaceful it was at this property.

The location is perfect for getting to any of the attractions and to restaurants. The owner is very attentive, kind and helpful. Our room was cozy and inviting, the bed comfortable, great shower. I would stay here again!

The place was great, clean and friendly staff . The only problem was parking. If I were to plan this trip again Sintra guest house would have been the beginning of our trip and would have gone without the rental car. It was the last place we stayed, and we already had a rental car. Parking was a pain.

Room #4 was a pleasant surprise. A full apartment with kitchen,dining area, living room, spacious bedroom, and bath was clean and quaintly decorated. The host was very friendly and accommodating. Only a taxi can take you there. An Uber will get you close and you will have to walk downhill.

Karen was a great communicator and very helpful. I was very interested in the history of the building, which used to be a day activity and care center for local elderly residents. She has done a great job renovating and preserving the character. Our room (#2) was spacious with many windows and good air flow. Great location to access palaces and castle.
