I'm sure if you stayed in the main house, you might have a different experience from us. We stayed in a bungalow and it was dire. Basically like staying at camp and not a good one. Perhaps we had their worst room, but the issues were really stupid, lazy stuff. There is a little deck up to the entrance - a board right is the center had clearly broken, instead of replacing it, they have screwed in another board on top creating a trip hazard or you could rip the soles of your feet on the exposed screws. One whole side of the bungalow is all windows the center window has a blind which was broken, so they nailed it is place, but they couldn't get that right and hung it at an angle leaving the window exposed. The remaining windows where covered with curtains that didn't close properly. The toilet seat is loose, which any house cleaner who cleaned the toilet would know. There is mold around the base of the shower and on shower hose. The furniture was basic and tired. Definitely not what we expected based on the pictures or reviews. Breakfast wasn't much to right home about. The house itself and the grounds look lovely, location is ideal, close to everything. Based on managing expectations, this is the worst experience we have had in a long time.

The location was perfect. The property is beautiful and just a 13 minute walk into the center of town. Many of the important sites are within walking distance. For those who prefer an uber at any time, please note that they were easily available. We took one from the train station just a short ride away. Additionally there is a bus available to help you access the parks that way. The breakfast room is open and overlooks beautiful plants and trees. The food was very good. We did not have a car. The bed and breakfast was beautifully decorated overall.

This is the cutest B&B! We absolutely loved it here and wished we had stayed more nights. The staff are so friendly and helpful! The breakfast was delicious and served on the garden terrace! It is walking distance to the town and all the nearby castles. I can't recommend this place enough!

I didn’t care for the check-in person, he was not friendly. Also he never gave me the code for the gate so when I came home one evening after midnight, the gate was locked I tried calling recording call back tomorrow. I had to Uber to another hotel to spend the night.

Firstly this could be a wonderful hotel, the reception is grand as as is the main hotel its such a shame theres so much going for it, if only some money was spent on it to repair all the little annoying thing's that spoiled it, such as broken sunbeds, clutter such as 'spare' large panes of glass leanings up against the wall on the public balcony are, which is a disaster waiting to happen, our shower head wouldn't adjust so it was really difficult not to soak the floor and the shower hose was worn that it was leaking, paint peeling on kitchenette cupboards, 2 wine glasses that were totally different sizes, diningroomchairsthatwobble, just so many little things that could be so easily rectified. The pool area is lovely and the jacuzzi was great and the gardens were beautiful except the ornamental pond was completely different clogged with blanket weed, again just not maintained. The breakfast was very good and the staff were helpful. I feel so sad that I couldn't rate it higher but it was very tired and shabby.

A little hard to find when you don’t know the area. They should send the gate code before our arrival so we don’t have to drive all around the neighborhood to park the car. Service was good overall. The house (main building) is old but charming and the room was clean but the smell of it was awful and way too strong (very strong perfume sent in the room). Also the bed matress was sunken (very big dips in it on both sides), there is no AC and if you open the window to get fresh air (or to attenuate the smell) you will be waking up veryyyyy early (like 3am) to the sound of the roosters screeming non stop. Besides that, the buffet breakfast was nice!

This place was AMAZING!! My only regret is not booking more nights. The photos do not do this property justice: beautiful gardens, hot tub, very cute adorable breakfast room. 10/10 would stay here again and will be telling ALL my friends. My advice is to book one extra night just for relaxation. Ask the man at the front desk for advice, he knows his stuff. Also, just take an Uber, the bus isn't worth the few extra dollars you might save.

This b&b was just perfect! The grounds, pool, area is surreal, the room is comfy and clean and very practical. The staff were all nice and the included breakfast delicious. It is also very quiet but only 6 min walk to the historic center.

Beautiful property and conveniently located in close proximity to the centre of Sintra. Rooms are a good size and the pool/hot tub were welcome after walking around Sintra and the sights.
