The view looking out to Fig Tree Square from my room was excellent! All of the staff were friendly and helpful. As far as the comfort of the room goes, the bed was okay but there were holes in the bedding and the pllows may need replacing. Otherwise, I would stay in the same room again.

Hotel is located in an amazing place downtown looking at it. Looks scary but location service beds were fantastic 10 on 10. The only downfall you need to walk Stairs I struggled, but it was worth it. The room was amazing. It also came with breakfast. That was delicious everybody there Was pleasant and helpful. They even offered to bring our suitcases up the stairs.

Loved room 404 as it had a sitting area and coffee table right outside the room as well as access to a microwave, kettle and large fridge just steps away round the corner. There was never any wait to usd the shared bathroom and although the room faced the busy square, doors, shutters and curtains effectively blocked out any traffic noise. The breakfast was great: cereals, yoghurts, fruit juices, coffee, toast, boiled eggs, ham, cheese, jams, butter, bread, rolls, pieces of fruut and cakes. Brilliant! The only drawback were the amount of stairs that need to be climbed. Doable but when you're hot and tired, it's a bit of a pain! Would I return? Absolutely. It's a perfeft base for fab restaurants in all directions and to the metro.

All in all, this is definitely a property worth recommending. Pros: the breakfast was consistently good and well organized. The location is excellent - right in the middle of Baixa. So many tourist locales in Lisbon are just a walk away. The balcony is also wonderful! People pay $ for the views that you could simply see from the balcony. The price is definitely reasonable and the staff were very helpful and great. Cons: The location itself is not very well marked. It is next to a restaurant, but when you enter, it looks like a private apartment residence so it is confusing. I am a solo female traveler and needed help from a local to find it. Be aware at night as there are sometimes loiterers hanging out at the door step.

Pros: close to everything and central location. Cons: Staff are not the most friendly, inconvenient as no lifts, internal and external noises can be heard from your room and worst of all, very unsafe feeling area - lots of shady people hang out nearby the entrance and the alleyway. Would not recommend for this price point, look elsewhere and do your research and due diligence as it is not a budget price.

This property is in a great central location. The double bed was a little small (short) so found it uncomfortable, we aren’t a tall couple either. The bathroom was a little noisy with the water system in place. The staff at reception and breakfast were friendly and welcoming. Luggage storage outside check in and out times was great.
