Interesting property, with a fun concept, but communication was lacking and we didn’t get the breakfast on any of the days. If the property looks good, go for it. But go somewhere else for breakfast.

Location, fabulous! Right in the heart of restaurants, the water, easy walking places without so many hills. This is a quirky property which doesn’t fit the mold. If you are prudish, skip this one but if you have a since of humor, aren’t afraid of sexual innuendo then go for it. The staff was great!

Wacky and wild, def not for kids, located in the heart of the heart of the Pink Street entertainment area, this was a fun stay. No ground floor so you carry your bags straight up the stairs that may be full of dancers and bar visitors if you arrive after 8pm. Very good double windows keep out most music and hubbub of the street. Bathroom nice and clean, fun furnishings, huge bed that was good for sleep.

WOW! loved this hotel. solo traveller but i love the vintage style yet modern renovation beautifuly done! warm welcome and loved the vibe of this hotel. for the open minded but none the less great stay, SUPER comfy bed and beautiful furnishings. will come back!! well located to get to many areas of town

Risque’. Wouldn’t advise children. Staff-knowledgeable, very friendly. Management gave great directions about the city. Location in very active nightlife area. Copenhagen Coffee House, street behind Pink Street hotel entrance, is great. Be advised, check-in is on second floor with awkward, somewhat steep stairs. Lift available from bar level, which is two flights up from Pink Street. Also look for hotel eliminated sign not building number on Pink Street entrance. Metro/train station is close. Time Out Market is a must! Across from metro/train station. Taylor’s sangria is absolutely delicious! Enjoy Portugal!

We absolutely LOVED our stay! The details in the design, the quality of the furniture, bedding, amenities, etc really took you back in time. Our bed was the biggest bed we’ve ever seen, and the historic (and sexy) touches throughout the room and hotel were perfection. We felt safe, cared for, and would recommend this Pensao Amor to anyone looking fur a unique experience! We were on the 3rd floor & the double windows blocked out 90% of sound coming from Pink St below, and our sound machine app took care of the rest. The lounge below is a great time. We had hot water, and great water pressure. The bed was super comfortable, and we were just delighted with the entire experience! Note that you need to haul your luggage up a couple flights of stairs before you reach the lift. A small price to pay for a unique stay!

The room was very clean and got cleaned regularly. The aircon was definitely handy with it being quite warm outside (23 degrees on average). The location was great to get easily to all the places in the old town and it was near Cais de Sodre, a train station that takes you to surrounding areas and towns. There was usually staff at the desk and the check in and out times were great too. Overall a really good stay, I can’t fault it.

Very unique hotel in a great location! My room was overlooking Pink Street and I could hear the noise from the clubs/bars downstairs but it was pretty muffled and didn’t bother me.
