Overall we loved the hotel. The staff was very courteous and friendly. The rooms were very clean and they have a great view. One criticism ... the restaurant needs a new cook. The food was mediocre. When asked to recook a steak that was served raw the restaurant staff took over 40 minutes to redo the order. And even then the steak was brought back just as raw as before. Disappointing.

Great little spot to visit for a short time. The staff were great. Joao our server at the resteraunt was wonderful. The location is perfect to walk around from all in all great.

Location was great. The room was clean. Easy to get uber near the hotel to Pena palace and many other attractions. The view from the valley view room was okay. The breakfast didn't have much selection, and the cooked eggs were so greasy. We would stay at another hotel near the cape if we visit Sintra next time.

Great location. The hotel seemed to be a little older, but, very well-maintained and seem to have been updated recently. We loved our balcony and had a great view. The staff was helpful. The only heads up I would give,, the hotel had mentioned that if we were driving, that we would need a code to let down a barrier so we could get to the hotel. It said to call a phone number. When I did, it was all in Portuguese. In their defense, I did not message them for further details or instructions. I did just drive there to try to figure it out once we were there. It would have been nice if the email had been more detailed. Also, if you were planning on driving, make sure you message them. They can email you or send you a QR code on WhatsApp. You do have to get a new code every day. Otherwise, it was a great stay and loved sintra

Booked a suite, furniture was dreadful painted white mismatched , flooring was raised on edges , bed headboard had holes on the top, balcony doors made such a loud noise when opening, the hotel needs to be completely refurbished very poor but charge very high prices . Think you’re paying for location . Went out for day came back at 5.15 room still wasn’t made up, 1 breakfast tea 2 fruit teas in hospitality basket plus coffee, not enough to last for a 3 day stay 3 people staying in suite but only enough towels for 2 people ! I could go on but I won’t , VERY DISAPPOINTED
