Christmas holiday

Great for small family with older kids/couples. We loved the location- very central and walkable. It is up a steep hill and there are stairs only. Kitchen is basic, everything worked. Beds and baths as described. We found it very agreeable, but were out and about most of the day. Host was very communicative and helpful. The city tax was a tricky thing- I would just offer to leave cash for it. The bank transfer thing was crazy. Overall, would recommend and would stay here again.

It was really amazing to stay in that place right in the old neighbourhood a lot of restaurants and terraces to enjoy Lisbon.

Great View- walking distance to city center

Great spacious apartment with an awesome view close to town. Only semi negative comments are: no soap to wash hands in the bathrooms and there weren’t any pillowcases?? Otherwise, the host was super responsive (even had an issue with the AC that was fixed by the time we returned home for the day)!

We asked for a couple of extra towels and it got brought to us two days later with no communication. Water would run outside the standing shower no matter how careful we were . No covers for the pillows. Kitchen faucet was loose.

Basic apartments in city center

The apartment is very basic, we did not find such items as sugar, coffe, salt, etc. Also we had issues with chech in as we were provided with wrong pin codes. And finnaly, we had complicated booking: we paid the whole amount in advanced and booked but later we receive e-mail from the owner to pay additionally, to send copies of our documents, etc.

Poorly maintained property

Absolutely NOT the picture listed on VRBO. No view of water at all. Arrival directions hard for UBERto locate. Another host of property helped us find the exact location and helped us PUSH door open. Kitchen appliances(hotpot and coffee) did not work. Kitchen faucet disconnected at sink…same in master bath. Master bath shower drain clogged. Could not shower in master bath. No pillow cases or extra linens. Sofa covered with a fitted bed sheet due to peeling faux leather.Contacted host. Took 24 hours to respond and then offered to move to another location. Told us of city tax on day of arrival and sent us a pdf to submit to his bank. However, you need a NIF to accomplish transfer—very complicated and we went to his bank and the bank said very complicated. Listed as host to greet, but we never saw him. Unfortunate! Nice building and if maintained it could be such a nice place to stay.

Perfect location and view

This unit is in a great location in Lisbon, with an incredible view. The unit was spacious with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. However, there were some minor issues - there were no pillow cases on the pillows, there was no product in the dispensers in the bathroom, and the AC unit in the living room area leaked, so we couldn't use it. Otherwise, our stay was great!

Decent location, however pictures are not accurate

As it was our first trip to Portugal I attempted to contact the owner a couple of times about our reservation, however no reply with a generic email sent sometime on our overnight flight from Canada. As one reviewer posted the climb up to the apartment would be difficult if you have mobility issues. The apartment somewhat looked like the pictures…however ours was dirty, obviously not cleaned as you would expect between guests, even money laying on the table…which we left. The couch is all flaking and is covered by white sheets…needs to be replaced badly. Pillows were dirty and had no pillow cases. The blind in the living room did not work. Air conditioning in living room was broken and although they worked in the bedrooms only blew hot air. Messages sent and no response for 2 days, saying maintenance not available. Kids woke up with heat rash and one puking from the heat in the apartment. Slept for 2 nights in what felt like a sauna. No soap in soap dispensers, half roll of toilet paper in each bathroom kitchen tap loose. Raw sewage smell in bathrooms so bad had to leave the windows open in them which didn’t help. Stains including mould staining in bathroom. Property owner finally returned a message after 2 days and we were able to switch apartments. No difference in this apartment besides working air conditioning. Owner finally got back to me about leaving their request for an extra tax payment in cash on the table…however we were long gone by the time they responded.

Lisbon Experience

It was comfortable The view of Lisbon is breathtaking There was easy access to the shopping area and very close to the train bus and taxi services. There were 4 adults in the apartment and the availability of one key was a challenge However the experience was very good

Perfect location for public transport +!!!

My two girlfriends and I stayed at this amazing place! I highly recommend staying and enjoying this property. Though the hill to get up to the property will have you questioning how Fit you are, it just reminds you how hilly Lisbon is. There’s a great Nepalese restaurant nearby (Grill & Chill). We highly recommend! This place had A LOT of restaurants to choose from. Royale Experience down the hill held it down with their iced lattes. Loved the place. Would book again!

Well located. Comfortable but could do with better lighting in the bedrooms. Needs to have instructions to work the stove. Kitchen also needs a kettle. A bedroom door had to be repaired on arrival.

Relaxing and bathrooms were modern. The property is modern and was spacious. The taxi driver had difficulty finding the place, but made sure by asking how to get there. I would ask for updated directions to get there. We enjoyed our stay, and the nice views.

Overall enjoyed our stay here. Good spot. Access can be a bit tricky but close to the center town. Good apartment size for the family. Doesn't have a laundry machine.

Great apartment, heart of Lisbon!

This property, like many others, it’s not for the faint of heart. The walk up and down to the apartment was challenging, but also part of the experience. Walking up or down from the apartment there were restaurants with variety to choose from. It was also easy for Uber drivers to find us. While there was public transportation nearby, we particularly did not use it. The apartment was very quiet, with a very good ventilation, especially since it was warm when we stayed there. Overall a very nice place to stay, very spacious.

Great place to stay in Lisbon

Great communication with the property manager before & during our stay. Lovely apartment in a good position, near to Graca. On initial arrival, it was difficult to find the property & the taxi dropped us at the bottom of a steep alleyway. We had to lug a suitcase up the hill for approximately 250m - not easy. Better details of how to find property & easy drop off points would help. Property very clean, but No toilet roll (not even a few sheets!!) on arriving at the property - not good after a 3 hour flight & journey from the airport & we had to quickly find a supermarket! No tea towels in kitchen.

Schöne Ferienwohnung fußläufig zum Zentrum

Ideal, um Lissabon zu entdecken. Zentrum fußläufig erreichbar. Es gibt aber auch eine U-Bahn-Station in der Nähe, was die Anbindung zum Flughafen oder etwas außerhalb gelegenen Sehenswürdigkeiten ermöglicht. Sehr zu empfehlen! Check-in über Tür-Code bzw. Schlüssel-Safe jederzeit unkompliziert möglich.

Très bel emplacement

Très bon séjour dans ce grand appartement à la superbe vue ( la photo de la vue depuis l’appartement dans la description de celui-ci n’est pas de la vraie vue: on ne voit pas le Tage depuis l’appart puisque l’appart est orienté plein Ouest). Très spacieux, et très lumineux et au calme. Cette location pourrait être de qualité supérieure avec un peu plus d’équipement au niveau de la cuisine.

Dificuldade de acesso, mas otimo acabamento e local

O imovel não é adequado para receber hospedes com malas grandes ou pessoas idosas pois a rua é inacessivel para carros/UBER e o solo é extremamente irregular e ingreme .a distancia da rua principal ao imovel é grande. É necessario adicionar esta informação no anuncio pois ele busca atrair hospedes pela vista local. O edificio foi construido apenas para o fim de alojamento local e tem bom acabamento.Local na cidade é muito bom.
