Staying at LR Guest was incredible and exceeded expectations. The entire staff was hospitable and welcoming and treated us like we were family friends staying at their house. David made a delicious breakfast which was a chance to talk to him and receive recommendations (many of which we tried out and thoroughly enjoyed) as well as talk to other guests. Enjoyed the mini bar with chairs outside which was a fun way to end the night. The area nearby can get loud at night but it is walkable and such a fun place. We enjoyed our stay so much and it was a great start to our trip. HIGHLY recommend staying at LR Guest!!

Above and beyond would be an understatement for the LR guest house. We had a short stay but even in that time the staff made us feel like family and made our time here great. The room was spacious and clean, homemade breakfast was delicious (everything from the kitchen was great - even the late night snacks). Very walkable area. Will definitely be coming back.

This charming guesthouse was the perfect spot for our stay. The house is located centrally and a short walk to everything. The entrance requires you to ring a bell and someone will come down and open the front door. So much to see in the area. Our hosts David & Diogo were amazing. From assisting us with excursions - which were amazing - the tuk tuk and the private tour to Sintra and places to eat and see. The breakfasts prepared by David were outstanding and the selection of items is amazing-the orange cake with walnuts was to die for and made fresh. Morning conversations were wonderful as well learning about out hosts and about Lisbon. Our room was a corner suite - lots of windows and a great juilette balcony - windows kept night noise out. Bed was super comfy and bathroom had everything we need. There is even a coffee maker and small fridge in your room plus a safe as well. When we arrived in the early morning - they stored our luggage and after a small breakfast and a quick change we were able to head out exploring. This place makes it feels like you are staying in a home with friends. Would highly recommend ❤️

I have nothing but praise for the LR Guest House in Lisbon. Much preferred over a hotel! It is so much cozier, friendlier and has so many thoughtful touches. As a solo traveller, I was very well cared for from the moment I arrived. The environs were quite noisy after about 8 pm, but the earplugs provided worked like a charm! I highly recommend this place!

It’s quiet and clean. Staff are wonderful and caring. We loved Milena’s cooked breakfasts. Despite being in a noisy neighbourhood, it’s very quiet. The location is excellent as Tram 28 is just down the road.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at LR Guesthouse. The staff were so kind, friendly and could not have been more helpful. Particularly loved the breakfasts cooked fresh for you every morning and the outdoor terrace area with bar was such a lovely touch! Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again if we return to Lisbon.

Everything about LR Guest House was terrific! Diogo and David were wonderful. It's centrally located with lots of great restaurants, shops, and other points of interest. The building itself is charming, and the rooms are pleasant and well appointed. There are a lot of bars in the area, and some late night happenings, especially on the weekend. Even so, the rooms were quiet and comfortable. It was nice to feel like you're in the middle of the action, but still have a quiet, restful place you can retreat to. I especially enjoyed to cooked-to-order breakfast and the opportunity to meet other guests in the shared kitchen and dining area. Highly recommend!

What a great experience at the LR Guest house. Dioggo and David were the best host. The other young lady was great as well, but I only saw her briefly. The location is very walkable to all the important places and accessible to the train. Their breakfast and coffee was great, they make great food themselves as well. The room was spacious for 2 adults and a teenager, and we loved our tiny balcony view. My favorite part was the patio area with a reading nook that served as a socializing space as well. 10/10 recommend this hotel! Would stay here even longer and again if I could. To preface the initial entrance will through you off a bit, but they are very responsive.

Property was wonderful. Was just slightly tricky to find as it was off the Main Street a block or so. Also the lobby downstairs was not lit at night so we had to use our phone flashlights. Other than that a really great place. Note: To access the Guest house, you must go up a flight of stairs.

Hidden gem, LOVED this little place

Amazing place, staff are outstanding, perfect location. The ‘courtesy’ bar was fab, the snacks throughout the day was a nice treat. Absolutely would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you Diogo, David & Milena (& not forgetting cleaners but don’t know names!)

Nice friendly and familiar guesthouse with very friendly staff, a lovely backyard terrace. Coffee, biscoitos and water provided all day through. Very central and relatively quiet in a very lively area. Highly recommendable!
