Stayed for just one night during a layover in Lisbon. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the city. The building is historic and full of character, yet the room was spotlessly clean. The bed was fresh and comfortable, with plenty of hot water, and thoughtful touches like a hairdryer and toothbrush were much appreciated.

Good for the price. HOWEVER, weak wifi, small room (at the lower price) and slow, one person elevator. Fabulous location. Very good breakfast was included. We would use it again for shorter stays. We'd upgrade if staying more than 3 or 4 nights.

Room was very clean, with modern amenities and a great view. If there was a negative it would be the joke of an elevator that could not carry me up or down the 3 flights (it barely could lift my luggage, which I had to run up said three flights to make sure some did not take them). The storage room was also very unsafe, being that it was in the middle of a flight of stairs and one could easily tumble down the stairs wrestling a heavy bag out of the room, the door to which was maybe 4 foot high.

Over-priced, & basic at best. Poor rooms, bad beds and we had to request curtains ! Cold "hot food" and fruit that was left out for days, possibly weeks on end. Shower roulette was off you'd get any hot water, or maybe just burn.

Ended up not staying due to visibility dirty room and mold on ceiling. Hotel did not provide an alternative and has not responded to my email about a refund. This place should be removed from hotels.com as the pictures don't match the hotel.

The room itself, while small, was bright and fresh, and I loved the little balcony. Bathroom was stylish but the shower space was too small, and why is the soap dispenser at knee height? Also would benefit from a toilet roll holder and towel rail or at least hooks. Breakfast was ok but only starts at 7:3 Yes the elevator is unique, and once is enough. Night time noise really didn't bother me, but the construction noise from 6:00 am did, and they seemed to make the worst noise before 06:30. How the local authorities permit this beats me. Luckily it only affected me one morning. Would stay here again, but a few small changes would make a big improvement 0 which is v
