Good location

Overall, the location of the hostel was good enough. You can reach Santa Amaro train stop in 15-18 minutes by walk. There are two yatch harbor and different food and beverage alternatives around the hostel.

The place golden days are way over, The worst breakfast so far in this 10-cities trip. They rationed your food, The orange juice is an orange flavored drink. One big plus: The surrounding areas are fantastic.

The hotel didn't include towels, since we didn't have a car and we arrived in the late evening, we walked several kilometers and all I could find were small microfiber automotive towels (size of hand towels).

Backpackers Beware

It pains me to write this because the people who run this place seem like nice people, but this hostel is absolutely unacceptable. I checked in to find a room in complete shambles- a mattress pulling apart at the seams, dried blood in the bunks, clear signs of bedbugs, no fitted sheets. They do not give you key cards and the rooms do not lock, which I felt unsafe with as a solo woman traveler. There is no wifi and no outlets. Not to mention the address of this place is wrong online, which resulted in me walking over an hour with all of my gear- all for a disappointing stay. If you are used to the likes of TOC and generator hostels stay far far away from this place- it’s cheap for a reason.

A estadia tem uma localização excelente, o que faz bastante diferença. A roupa de cama é limpa e cheirosa, e a janela veda bem, além de oferecer uma vista bonita para o mar. Por outro lado, o espaço já mostra sinais de desgaste: o colchão está um pouco deformado, há paredes descascando e o banheiro é bem simples, atende para uma estadia curta. Também vale mencionar que não há frigobar. No geral, é uma opção ok para poucos dias, principalmente pela localização.

Péssima experiência, zero conforto!

O hotel está degradado ao extremo. Camas com pés frouxos e colchões velhos, a cabine de duche com cortinas tão longas que a água do banho sai toda para fora. Péssima experiência! Zero conforto! Não há sequer uma ventoinha no quarto.
