the slowest elevator EVER. Staff (maids) not speaking English. No plug in the bathtub, so i couldnt take a bath. Really rough linens and bathrobe. No tissue boxes anywhere other than in the bathroom. Or bar of soap. I appreciated the hotel slippers provided with a robe. Chocolates on pillow was a really nice touch. Clean enough room, good selections of tea and coffee. Quiet enough--it's a hotel in a centre of Lisbon, you cant expect too much. Decent breakfast, though scrambled eggs were simply horrific.

Be very careful if booking through hotels.com if you need a twin room. The accommodation was very satisfactory in terms of a central, business standard of accommodation, but if you need a room with two single beds please be advised that the booking is made on a ‘availability’ basis and therefore the hotel is not obliged to honor the request. Generally disappointed with the hotels.com experience.
