Arrival an issue

The property was fine, but there is a significant drawback. You have to arrange with the host (a property management company) a time to enter the apartment, because they have to send someone to let you in. This in itself is an inconvenience, but in our case, it was even more so because we arrived at the appointed time and no one was there. We had to wait more than an hour for someone to finally arrive to let us in. Fortunately, it wasn't raining at the time, but that is a very unsatisfactory situation.

Complaints about our residence

The apartment was not well maintained and ready for guests. The coffee maker was broken, leaking a lot of water on the counter, so we couldn't use it. Additionally, trash and recycle cans in the kitchen were dirty. Small insects were detected in the bathroom and kitchen. We sent pics to Whom Property Management, and we can provide pictures to VRBO upon request. The shower stand and the bathroom sink stopped draining after the first use. It was uncomfortable for us as three women over 60. I had to contact the owner to fix the bathroom. It is to be noted that the neighborhood was dirty; smelling trash was piled up on the pavements, and homeless people were here and there on that small street. (Not a proper place for vacation rental.) All and all, it was not an enjoyable experience for us; therefore, we do not recommend this place to friends and family; nor would we trust VRBO for our future trips.
