this was the most perfect hotel in lisbon! everyone was so friendly and the food was great. we were walking distance from so many shops and the tram station, so very convenient.

We had such a lovely time here. The hosts are amazing. Everything was so well thought out. We were in #19 on the top floor, but we’d been walking around Lisbon, so we were prepared. The property was adorable and everything was so well thought out. Thank you for everything!

Pros: - It was a charming/quaint hotel - Staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful - Free breakfast was a plus - They did let us check in a little early. They also stored our bags when we first got there Cons: - WiFi didn’t work in our room and half of the time in the common area - We were on the ground floor (room 20) and you could hear every sound above us. We had to sleep with AirPods in & white noise to block the heavy foot steps and banging. It was very inconvenient when being jet lagged and needing sleep. This is why we’re giving it 4-stars - The location was a little out of the way from everything. I wish we were 10 mins closer. We love walking but the hills made this hotel feel inconveniently located Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

Fantastic property! The staff was extremely welcoming and hospitable. The breakfast spread is wonderful. Accommodations were comfortable and within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants, as well as the Rossio train station. Definitely would recommend staying here!

Great place to stay

Lovely small hotel - spotlessly clean throughout and beautifully presented. The position means it is easy to reach lots of key areas and/or catch local transport. The staff are all friendly and very helpful and seem to genuinely enjoy working at Charming House. Breakfast is excellent, lots of freshly prepared choices and the hot option is kept topped up rather than a tray cooked at the start and left throughout. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Charming Hotel

We had a lovely time in Lisbon and are very glad that we chose to stay at this lovely hotel. All of the staff were very welcoming & helpful and made us feel very comfortable from the moment we arrived. Our room was spotless and a great place to return too after a day exploring in the heat. Breakfast was included and had a great selection to choose from. The staff really do deserve a lot of praise as they clearly take pride in ensuring guests are very well looked after

Superb stay in charming Lisbon hotel

We loved this small charming hotel. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Excellent service.The breakfast was delicious. We had a lovely top floor room with a balcony and view over the rooftops. The air con was very effective at keeping the room cool in the Lisbon heat. We would definitely recommend this hotel to other travellers.

We found this B&B for our 2-day layover visit to Lisbon, and we would not hesitate to book it for a future stay. Very close to restaurants, Time Out Market, and the Tram 28 stop. Tram stop to Belém is also a short walk away. Beautiful property!

We stayed here the first week of June 2025 and really enjoyed the proximity to several local sights, restaurants and shops. The pool was chilly but refreshing after long days in the sun. Breakfast was delicious and service was impeccable. Special shoutout to Jess who was incredibly helpful during our stay. The only (slight) drawback was that the rooms aren't all that sound proof and because many folks choose to have breakfast in the courtyard, you're guaranteed to be woken up by 8am.

The service at Dear Lisbon is above and beyond - the staff really want you to feel welcome. Breakfast was excellent, wine was very good, and the beds were comfortable. The only drawback is the rooms are quite small and there is little noise insulation. Earplugs helped with the noise and otherwise we had a wonderful stay.

The hotel was lovely and within walking distance of the city centre. It was in a safe residential area. Easy to navigate and Tram 28 just up the road. Lots of nice shops and restaurants locally. Staff were very knowledgable and more than happy to offer recommendations for trips, restaurants etc.

We had a fantastic stay, the staff friendliness and helpfulness was absolutely outstanding, the room was comfortable, clean and felt beautiful and there was a beautifully presented breakfast with lots of options each morning. The not having drinks or food in your room request, along with a coffee machine and teabags was a little confusing-it would have been nice to have freely had a cup of tea and a biscuit after a day out. Otherwise, I can’t fault this property and would stay again without hesitation. 10/10

Clean rooms and close to city center. Can be challenging to climb for someone with mobility needs because the hotel entrance is on a steep hill incline. However, what makes this hotel so extraordinary is the hotel staff and service. Incredible service by staff and attention to details. Wonderful experience!

Love the hotel. Great breakfast. The hotel is so pretty inside and outside. So many bars nearby. Easy to walk to many city sights. Tram 28 runs by the end of the road. Superb!
