The apartment is in an excellent location. We took the metro from the train station and stopped at Baixa Chiado. It was only a 5 minute walk. Our host, João was kind enough to meet us a bit early to let us in. He provided recommendations and dealt with a minor issue immediately. There are multiple restaurants nearby and Tram 28 is a few metres from the apartment entrance. The apartment is spacious and has a kitchenette equipped with all the basics. We liked the separate bedroom and with the doors closed, it was very quiet. The bed were comfortable. A couple of things we didn't like are the smokers who sit on the stoop just below, the toilet with the wrong seat and the slight sewer smell coming from the washroom. The washroom is very small, but we managed fine. We found the location very safe and very convenient. We also took the metro to the airport from there.

The location couldn't be better to explore Lisbon. Easy to travel to all points of interest, and in Chiado and Bairro Alto we found a fantastic vibrant atmosphere. It is not a quiet area, but we would not expect this when booking in this area. Appartement is good, clean and well equipped, we had a couple of minor issues that management team did their best to fix, good communication.

No air conditioning and it was terribly hot at night with the windows closed. They gave us fans but it was still like sleeping in an oven. If you leave the windows open, it’s very loud from street noise as it’s in a popular bar and restaurant area. I loved the area and we were 2 min walking from the metro. I have nothing bad to say about the rental itself. I just wouldn’t stay here in mid-summer again without air conditioning. It would be perfect any other time of year. The apartment itself was cute and the property manager was prompt to meet us when our taxi arrived to hand us the keys and show us the need to knows despite being 10pm.

Great Location

Right in the heart of the city, the apartment is a three minute walk from Baixa Chiado underground station. Timeout Lisbon and Cais do Sodre is a ten minute walk. The apartment is clean and spacious. I would choose to stay here again.

Super zentrale Lage!

Super zentrale lage, grundsätzlich sauber und für 3 nächte wunderbar. Leider sehr kleines badezimmer, keine möglichkeit das nasse duschtuch aufzuhängen. João hat mit uns das check-in gemacht und wir konnten sogar bereits um 10.15 uhr das apartment beziehen. Vielen dank!
