Lovely guest house ! Our room had a balcony with a view and was spacious. It had everything we needed and a nice hot shower . The included breakfast had a great selection of things to eat . The staff was helpful and polite. The only thing I would mention is the bedroom area could use more lighting. The area was perfect and easy walking distance to lots of places .

The Águamel is a quaint and unique place to stay while in Sintra, hidden away from the main tourist noise. At least that was how it was for us when we stayed in February. Of course, any stay is only as good as the other guests who share the hotel with you. The breakfast was lovely, albeit a tad later (served at 9) than we would prefer. The selection of food was plentiful and very yummy. The staff very kind.

We loved this little hotel in the heart of historic Sintra! Just steps to all of the shipping and the lovely National Palace. Also right next to the bus stop for Pena Palace. I feel like we lucked out! It is charming. Highly recommend!
