Clean property, amazingly friendly staff (especially Matilda). Loved the ambience, the quality of the food and wines. Only very minor quibble was we were in the eaves which did not give us a lot of headroom when getting into bed. Loved this place and would highly recommend it and would like to return in the future. This is a lovely hotel, with excellent helpful and caring staff. The newer Elizabethian addition to the hotel is modern and good quality. The food is excellent with well sized portions which tempt you into another course. Parking is good but possibly difficult if the hotel is busy. We chose to have breakfast in Lincoln as its only 15 minutes away.

The hotel was perfect for our stay. It was easy to access and peaceful in some lovely grounds. The room was clean and very comfortable. We didn’t use the bar or restaurant as we were attending a funeral in the area. The breakfast was lovely ; there was a great select of juices, cereal, fresh croissants and a nice selection on the menu for a cooked breakfast as well. Would recommend and use again .

The hotel was extremely well maintained. Our executive room was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed sleeping in a king size bed. The staff were very friendly and professional. The breakfast choices were excellent. The bar was well stocked and open till 11.00pm, however, one could still order drinks through reception. The hotel had excellent parking facilities and the grounds were kept immaculate. Although approximately 5 miles from the centre of Lincoln, there was a frequent bus service every 30 minutes into the centre and the nearest bus stop was about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Would definitely return and recommend to others.
