North Hykeham is a small town with good local amenities located just 6 miles from the City of Lincoln and is an ideal location from which to discover the many delights that Lincolnshire and its neighbouring county of Nottinghamshire have to offer. Just a short drive from North Hykeham is Doddington Hall with its delightful gardens, the Usher Gallery, Lincoln Castle, the Museum of Lincolnshire Life, and the city of Lincoln with its wonderful hill top cathedral and shopping centre with a traditional market. A short drive takes you to the Lincolnshire Wolds, offering pretty rural villages and the market towns of Market Rasen, Horncastle and Louth with independent shops and tearooms. Nottinghamshire offers NT Clumber Park, the limestone gorge with caves at Creswell Crags with Museum and Heritage Centre, or spend a day at the races at Nottingham Racecourse.
