The room was very comfortable, modern and clean. The location is excellent, only a few minutes walk from the cathedral and surrounded by pubs and restaurants. The breakfast was also very nice.

Great location in the centre of the Cathedral quarter. It’s an old building and as such the hotel/pub has quirks but it’s a lovely place to stay. We had a king size room which was extremely spacious with a palatial bathroom. The breakfast was very good and our stay was great. The pub itself is great too and the menu is extensive catering for all tastes. For the price and location it was spot on. We would highly recommend it.

Centrally located in the historic district of Lincoln. Ten minutes walk to castle and cathedral and steep hill. Very old and large pub with restaurant. Individual boutique room. One gripe was lack of natural light in our room which was good in every other way. Staff are friendly and helpful. Car park at rear. We would definitely stay here again.

Very comfortable and clean room. Love the claw foot bath tub and the cookies were delicious! A bit hot in the room as there is no AC and the fan has to work overtime. Very close to the cathedral and town center. Breakfast was delicious with good variety.

Great place to stay in Lincoln, perfect location for visiting attractions; all within walking distance. The pub was cosy and the food was five star, we ordered Salmon and mussels, chicken & leek pie and a steak, all were delicious, we had no complaints! Staff were always helpful, room was gorgeous, a highly recommended place to stay.

Lovely oldie worldly pub with rooms and holiday cottages. Don't expect white walls and clean lines. The furniture is all carefully restored in keeping with the ambience of the pub. There are several different areas to eat/drink and the breakfast was delicious Very popular with locals and visitors alike. Weekly live music and events advertised. We stayed in room 6 which was huge charming and quiet considering the age of the place The staff were friendly and helpful. Parking at the rear is free. Would definitely consider a return visit.

Thai is a beautiful historic hotel right on the Bailgate, so close to the cathedral and other sites. The pub below is very quaint and enjoyable. The included breakfast was very good and a big selection for all tastes. The in room amenities, like coffee and water were great! Our only complaint would be the pillows. They were all rock hard and lumpy, even the one softer one. Better quality pillows would take this place up a notch for a boutique hotel.
