Very charming place. It's a million dollar view and very pet friendly. Only $10 per pet per night. The bed was comfy, parking was easy. Is it luxurious? No. But it's comfortable and charming. I'll take that all day every day.

The good: nice cottage on a cliff overlooking the ocean. Gorgeous view of the beach. The cottage is spacious and has a kitchen, a dining area, and an electric fireplace. The not-so-good: the staff is a mixed bag--some are friendly, but the lady doing the the night shift didn't even say hello. There is no housekeeping unless you specifically ask for it. And when I asked for late checkout, they gave me a whopping 30 minutes.

The staff was extremely friendly and ready to assist with any questions. As usual, the room was wonderful, spacious, with comfy chairs to enjoy the ocean view or the TV. The fireplace heater is just what these old bones need. Plenty of parking in the lot.

Parking was limited if you were staying on the “cottage” side of the property and you weren’t allowed to park on the motel side. Their definition of a cottage is not the same as mine it was a room attached to a main building. The actual cottages were lower and not mentioned in the reservations. So maybe call if you are wanting a cottage. Also there were bugs in our room so we had to be relocated. Glad we only stayed the one night.

Room was clean. Amazing view of the ocean and the windows are clear. Only complaint is the burners on the stove do not work well so we were unable to cook on our last morning as we planned. Other than that the room was nice. The bed was nice. Overall great place to stay.

This is definitely an older establishment but you just can't beat the amazing view! The appliancesay be old, but the bed is comfy, the shower is hot and the staff is friendly. And you aren't going to find a better price for such an amazing view. If you are looking for a 5 (or even 4 star) luxury hotel... This is not it. But if you are looking for a nostalgic place with everything you need for a relaxing stay with a beautiful view. You can't go wrong.
