Property could use some updating. Rooms are nice. Smaller rooms could use a bigger table. Paint was much needed around whole outside.

Room was clean and more updated than I had expected. Im not sure if this property was bought by the next door "starfish" but we had to check in/out at starfish and if we needed anything we were to let them know. The ice machine wasnt working at beachfront manor, but we were able to get ice from starfish.

Clean and cozy. There are lots of stairs with no elevator option and steep stairs to access the beach. The beach itself is a really nice long stretch so great for long walks. There’s no grocery or restaurant options on the beachfront road so you have to go up to the 101 for that

The staff was amazing! The rooms are a little run down and we found syringe and needles in the couch. Other than that it was great?

I booked a girls weekend getaway for a belated birthday gift for a friend, actually I booked their neighbor hotel (beach front manor) but there was some maintenance problem with the room I booked so they moved us to the starfish manor. I loved the hotel room, the room was super cozy with beach decor and also had a cute little electric fireplace heater to keep you warm at night. The beach access is super close and easy to access by foot, but it is by stairs at the neighboring hotel. The staff is wonderful at the front desk to check in/out and help with any other needs. Close enough to downtown & other surrounding area's to check out. A wonderful place to stay for any occasion, even if you don't get a beach front room.
