No problems with connection to the rest of Lima by public or private transport. On Sundays, you can enjoy biking/skating/walking from the apartment to Miraflores as the main avenue (Arequpa Av) is closed for motor vehicles. Lima-Santa Beatriz and Jesus Maria districts are pretty safe for tourism.
