- Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities
When I entered the room there was a cockroach on the floor. A little later there was an invasion of ants or possibly termites (as most of them had wings, which is indicative of termites, I'm going to guess termites). Aside from that, the accommodations were very basic. The floors were an old linoleum flooring. The tv was very small. There was no phone in the room (yeah, no calling for anything if there was a problem). The alarm clock didn't work. But aside from THAT, it did have air conditioning. They must have recently updated their showers, because that seemed like the only thing recent in the whole place. The shower was decently done, but the shower head was very low for short people. I'm only 5'8" and it was too low for me. This was the cheapest place I could find on Kauai. I paid about $140. I didn't get any value out of that. Envision a seedy, rundown old motel and that's what you'll get. Not worth the money I spent. But it was the cheapest option on Kaua'i while I was there. It had a bed. It had a bathroom. And that's about it!
