When I checked in, the very nice lady showed me to my room. I keep my A/C fan on all night to pull the cold air in. I got out of the shower the next morning and my room smelled like Marajuana. I opened my door and the maintenance guy had already gotten the smoker to stop and was nicely explaining to him the problem. I was able to walk to breakfast each morning using 2 different restaurants and Calvary Chapel was a 10 minute walk where I met a family from my church in California. Thank you Kauai Palms.

There was a man grouting from 6:40 in the morning a.m. and some sweeping sounds early in the morning directly outside our window. It was very disturbing for three mornings in a row. Why should we pay $180 a day to stay somewhere where you can't even sleep and comfort and wake up when you feel like it. That's the point of a vacation.

The general manager Ronald offers all guests a personal history course on the Hawaiian Islands, complete with photos and artifacts from his personal collection. It was fascinating and the highlight of our trip to Kauai. We will be back for his advanced course!

The room was fully furnished as promised - Fridge in the room, microwave in the lobby 24-hr available. The studio room was tight for a couple, but I had booked this roomoriginally expecting solo travel. Lobby has extensive historical info and display of Hawaii history. Centrally located in Lihue for full travel of the island.

The place overall is very nice. It’s small and quaint and feels like a throwback in time. If you’re looking for luxury this is not your place. If you’re looking for a clean, quiet, and friendly staff, you’ll be comfortable! Also, even though it’s in an off the beaten path, there are some great local restaurants just right around the corner within a short walking distance.

The kitchen was fully stocked with useful items and the hotel was very clean. It’s very cute and quaint. Only heads up- the front room curtains are not very thick. If you like a darker room I do recommend a sleep mask.

It was the cutest little cottage! Two bedrooms with two bathrooms, kitchen, and living area. It felt like we were living like “locals” in Kauai! We even had our own parking port. It feels old school with the “real key,” and it is in a less touristy area, but very convenient to the airport and main roadway. This is not a 5 star resort-type fancy local, but we really liked it.
