This is a wonderful hotel if you are looking for a quiet place that has an authentic Hawaiian feel. The lobby is essentially a museum and is fascinating to take a trip back in time. My girls loved the hotel cat, Mango, and really enjoyed their stay. Also, there are several really good locally owned restaurants within walking distance, so support the locals!! I really enjoyed our stay and will be back when I get the chance.

This is an awesome stay in Lihue, worked great for us as a landing site for the first few days, and loved that they keep it old school. Loved the office area with all the history. If we come back to Kauai we will stay here the whole trip.
