We loved our stay at The Gin. The front desk was helpful and kind when we arrived. She gave us helpful advice about the area. There were several cute shops in walking distance as well. The room was clean and had a nice size bathroom. The hotel is older and has a nice historic vibe. The balcony restaurant upstairs was a nice place to eat and get a great street view.

The Robert E Lee is a beautifully renovated hotel in the heart of historic Lexington right next to the Washington Lee University and the Virginia Military institute. Two of the best American institutions… both are must see 🇺🇸

The new decor was nice, but the pocket door to the bathroom was so stiff and sticky, it took two hands to open and close it. The continental breakfast offerings were standard, but the lighting was so dark in the area I couldn’t tell if my coffee cup was full or if I had added enough cream. Ended up going to Starbucks.
