Very nicely updated and they did a wonderful job preserving the authentic interior. The bar has a terrific selection and the restaurant menu had something for everyone. It's not a quiet location but that's kind of obvious being at the very center of town. I can imagine during the summer months there would be quite a bit more street noise but the later it got, the quieter it became. I was in room #8 so the kitchen exhaust was below my window (which I did not open) and that put out a bit of an unpleasant smell in my room from time to time. Next time I stay I will request a different room location but I really liked the hotel and all it's charm and would definitely stay here again!
