The staff was friendly and attentive, but the condition of the hotel and the room was absolutely disgusting. The lightbulbs were burned out (So much for "leaving a light on for me", Red Roof). The hallways, doors, furniture, walls and carpeting didn't just look neglected, they looked abused and destroyed. Walls were peeling, baseboards were falling off, and a chair in the room looked like the arms were worn down with years of wear and dirt. The bathroom door had a hole in the bottom where someone had obviously kicked it. Luckily, I only needed one night to break up the driving, but that place was a disgrace.

By far the nastiest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The chairs was discolored, there was stained up mattresses in the hallway, it smells like straight dog piss, the stairway had been turned into a greenhouse, there was a dead bug in the bathroom floor, there was a wire running from room to room. Literally ghetto! Next time I’ll pay the $10 extra and go next door.

Very clean. Traveled with 2 small dogs, so no carpeting in our room was perfect. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The young lady at the desk found a hair dryer for me. I will definitely be staying each time I visit.

Do not go to Red Roof Inn Winchester ky

Upon arrival I had noticed the outside awning was falling down thought it was from the storms we have had. Check in was easy but was told there was 100 dollar fee added that I didn’t know about. Go into the room it had a smell of mold and mildew bad. We had headaches and allergies started acting up. Walked into the bathroom and the walls were covered in mold and mildew. I do have pictures to prove this. I will never stay there again. I can’t show allergies and coughing in pictures but we stayed away as long as we could and slept there. Checking out early.
