Lobby floor needs fixing.curtains in room needs darkening..too much light at night...first room smelled like bleach..next room no hot water...the reviews i saw were over rated..they need to do refundable..especially since we had so much trouble..not sure i would give it 3 stars..one saving grace..the front desk people were very helpful and pleasant.

This was a non smoking facility. The room they game me was awful. As soon as I entered the room you could smell cigarette smoke. I found cigarette ash left behind. When I went back to the front desk and explained the situation and asked for a different room, her response was that there werent any more rooms available. The manager overheard and immediately found 3 empty rooms for me to look at to move to. She flat out lied and expected myself and my 10 year old to stay in smoke.

The price and location were the biggest positives of our stay. The hotel is very affordable, in a safe area, and close to tons of restaurants. The staff at the front desk were friendly, and the outside grounds were well maintained with beautiful fall trees. Unfortunately, the cleanliness inside the room was a major disappointment. There was visible mold in the shower and a strong dead-fish odor coming from the shower drain that stank up the entire room. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and squeaked with any movement. The floors were so dirty that my son’s white socks turned black on the bottom within 30 minutes of walking around. We were so grossed out by the overall cleanliness that we skipped the free breakfast entirely. I couldn’t imagine what the kitchen looked like. While the price is lower than other hotels in the area, you definitely get what you pay for. Despite the helpful staff and convenient location, we would not stay here again.
