Hated writing this one. Were huge on not caring too much about overall condition and usually go based on price concern with a balance of convenience, quiet and cleanliness. Great place if you can actually get it cheap and just need it a night or two. TONS of stairs, don’t book if you have a bunch of luggage or are by yourself and have several pieces to carry. Looks like the water stain thing isn’t actually new like we were lead to believe and with how bad it is, and the earthy smell in the bedroom upstairs, some may be bothered. We didn’t care so much about that. The shower was gross with some leftover hair, And there doesn’t seem to be any trash bags to dispose of trash. Tons of trash cans though. Super loud, it’s an old property but it sounds like the set of a horror movie with all the noise running through the house. The absolute worst part was the bait and switch price change. Within a couple weeks of our trip they dumped an excessive charge because the “pricing wasn’t accurate”. That’s unacceptable. The original price should always be honored regardless of user error on listing. In the end the host reduced the bait and switch charge but when you book you should have confidence that the price is the price.

Lovely apartment

A lovely place from which to explore St Andrew’s and surrounds. Apartment was thoughtfully set up and super clean, we really appreciated the amenities. Check in and check out was easy, with clear easy to follow instructions. Host checked in to check that all was ok.

Not a bad place to stay...

The property was great, we had fresh bread laid out and a working coffee machine. There were lots of dog hairs in the property and we told the owner - he answered quickly and was friendly. He sent a cleaner who helped. The property needs an upgrade but is ok to stay and the views were also very nice.

It was ok, the area seemed a little sketchy. It advertised a washer and dryer as amenities and did not find a dryer on the property. We were needing to do some laundry and were not able to as there was not a clothes dryer.

Lumpy twin room mattress.. stains on ceiling.. brown sofa bed couldn't be slept on as piece of wood alongside your shoulders.. very small TV for watching TV.. radiator coming of wall in down stairs toilet.

This flat is not up to standard and is in desperate need of an upgrade.Inside the ceilings are badly stained where water has got in , bathroom has disgusting mould round the bath seal,it's the worst bed we have slept in ,the place was freezing cold in the evening ,why put a timer on the heating for 5.00am?Would not recommend this flat .Booked for 4nights and only stayed 1.

Lovely spacious flat on Fifes coastal route

Flat is spacious, very clean, warm and comfortable to stay in. Easy to find as just off main road. Brought our meal with us but forgot the coffee. Although there was coffee and coffee maker in fully equipped kitchen we decided to use our own. Convenience store walking distance saved the day. Eight of us stayed for an overnight get together to celebrate our friends 60th birthday. Had a fabulous time. Went to near by Leven next day, beautiful part of Scotland.
