A community boat ramp is conveniently located behind house and the main lake is only a 15 min boat ride away. Only a short drive to the beaches of Rough River State Park. Plenty of sleeping area with King and Queen bedrooms and a Bunk room with 5 twin beds. The oversized garage will store a boat or kayaks while you visit. As i told the owner, if anything the listing doesnt do the house justice. Everything we could possibly ask for was at our fingertips. The kids LOVED the game room almost as much as i enjoyed the hot tub! Owner was exceptionally responsive and made every step in the process extremely easy. Would HIGHLY recommend for anyone looking to stay in the area!

Great place to take your teens!

Stayed here for 6 days, loved the house it was nicely updated and very clean. Came with just the right amount of imenities for a comfortable stay. Beds were amazingly comfy! We had 3 teens and a 9 y/o and 2 dogs with us, plenty of space and activities for all!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was on the rough river with a very peaceful atmosphere. We enjoyed the quite and the outdoors. Being able to make a campfire and roast marshmallows was a lot of fun and everyone enjoyed using the hot tub. The game room was nice but could have been even more impressive if the floor had been swept and the games wiped free of dust. We visited Mammoth Cave and it was about an hour and 15 minutes from the house a nice enjoyable drive and a way to experience the rural parts of Kentucky. We had a Dollar General about 10 minutes away which was very convenient. If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city this is the perfect location.

My family and I absolutely enjoyed our time at this location. The house was spotless and the owner was very interactive with any questions we had. Also easy, beautiful back roads trip to Mammoth Caves. Did some fishing in the river as well!

Great stay for a last minute getaway! House is well stocked with everything you need. Host was quick with check in details and we were able to access the house with no troubles. Bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub and the game room. Could use a big fan in the game room but opening the doors provided a little breeze.

This is a manufactured home in a hilly remote area. The Kitchen and living space were good and very comfortable beds. The garage was awesome for our 7 year old grandson. The ho t tub was nice but a set of jets didnt work. Overall, a great family friendly home is a scenic area.

Nice Getaway

Loved this place! Nice and quiet and in the middle of nowhere! Great access to the river. We came to hike with our dogs at the surrounding parks. Did not disappoint at all! Super clean, well furnished house and the hot tub is great!
