For guest safety, Whisper Mountain Lodge has an exterior security camera monitoring the front door. No cameras are located inside the home.

Stays of 28 Nights or Longer
Reservations shorter than 28 nights follow our standard vacation-rental terms. Reservations of 28 consecutive nights or longer are subject to additional requirements.

For stays of 28 nights or longer:
* A separate long-term rental agreement for 90+ night stays must be reviewed and signed.
* A security deposit may be required depending on the length of stay
* Required monthly or mid-stay cleanings will be scheduled in advance and charged separately.
* Scheduled trash-removal fees may apply.
* Monthly property inspections may be conducted with at least 24 hours' notice.
* Early departure does not qualify for a refund. Long-term cancellation and reservation-change terms differ from our standard short-stay policy.
* Utilities included with the rental will be identified in the agreement
* The reserving guest must be at least 25 years old and remain at the property for the entire stay.

Check-In / Check-Out
Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 10am. We're happy to review early and late check requests and will do our best to accommodate. While early check-in or late check-out can't be guaranteed, we always make every effort to honor these requests when availability allows. Paid options may be available.

Quiet Policy
This home is located in a peaceful, private mountain community. To preserve the relaxing setting for everyone, please keep noise to a respectful level at all times. Parties and disruptive behavior aren't permitted, and we kindly ask that you be mindful of neighbors and quiet hours starting at 10pm.

Last-Minute Bookings
For reservations made **within 7 days of arrival**, additional verification is required to protect our homeowners and guests.
This includes:
* A clear photo of a government-issued ID
* A full facial selfie of the primary guest holding that ID (must match the reservation name)
* A photo showing the last 4 digits of the payment method in the primary guest's name
Subject to security screening for verification and authenticity. Failure to complete verification may result in cancellation.
