Lovely comfortable room, wry helpful staff, great food and a great selection of beers. couple of minor irritations, to barely works, forever pixelating and fan in bathroom didn’t work, resulting in a very steamed up bathroom. Despite these issues we will definitely stay again.

Very clean, lovely location and pretty quiet even on a friday night. Shell the housekeeper made the room spotless and the staff were all very helpful. Only 20min drive from Leicester so it was perfect.

Booked to stay for one night as going to a funeral. Lovely room with good amenities and drink options. The chocolate on the bed was a lovely touch. All the staff were delightful and so welcoming. Went out of their way to help. One item on the menu wasn’t available due to an upcoming menu change but the were happy to give me something else and make it similar for me. The rooms you could see a bit of damp and needs a new coat of paint but I am told this is happening in October. I will definitely be going back if I’m in the area and will recommend to everyone!

Very clean, lovely staff, good food options. We stayed 3 nights and should have booked a bigger room rather than standard but facilities great. Parking was busy on the Friday and Saturday for people using the restaurant but still got a space and parking is free!

Large car park at rear but it was a large pub. Friendly staff and clean room. Food was good and well priced which was shown by how busy it was in the restaurant. The only negative at all for this pub/hotel was that when clearing tables after diners had left the waitress used what cutlery was left on the table to make it up ready for the next diners. How did she know that the previous people didn't sneeze on it or handle it? Not nice in my opinion
