The beautiful wooden villa cannot be looked into from the outside, high up in a quiet residential area. It is south facing with large terraces leading down to a heated pool and leafy garden planted with trees. Featuring elegant décor and high-quality amenities, the villa is 700 m from the ocean beaches and a similar distance to Arcachon Bay. It is near the cycle paths and angler's villages.

Fabulous visit to Le Canon, Cap Ferret

The villa is spacious and ideally located (a walk into town and the bay) and a bit longer walk over the dunes to the ocean. This is our second time renting this property and we would definitely come back. The property is ideal for a large family or two couples. The pool is especially welcome after a hot day out at the beach. Catherine is a gracious hostess and the house is extremely comfortable. Very highly recommended!

Wonderful Villa, close to beach and Cap ferret

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful villa, the owner Catherine was very welcoming, and the villa has everything you need. We were 2 families, with 4 teenage children, the villa works so well as a social environment, with the fully opening sliding doors, veranda and decked area stepping down to the heated pool, all surrounded by lush green planting, it was very peaceful and private location, just a short cycle or walk away is Le Canon on the on the basin side, where you can sit by the harbour eating fresh oysters and local wine, or you can cycle to the long sandy beaches on the Atlantic side, we highly recommend this villa, the perfect spot to explore the area or sit by the pool.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Le Canon. Catherine was very helpful and the house excellent. The pool and terrace were particular highlights and the proximity to market, beaches and cycle routes. A great holiday.

Perfect stay in Le Canon, Lège-Cap Ferret

In one word fantastic! We loved the house, the garden, the location! The house is very spacious and light, good air conditioning in all areas, very spacious bedrooms with good beds and neat bathrooms. the layout of the house is perfect with the kitchen next to the terrace with sliding doors that can be opened almost completely. the kitchen is very complete with kitchen utensils and equipment. On the terrace there is a lovely outdoor fireplace, perfect for a BBQ or for some warmth when it cools down in the evening, the covered terrace also provides plenty of shade when it is hot, the swimming pool is lovely and is well maintained. the garden is beautiful, you are completely private with sun almost all day. the location is perfect, pleasant neighborhood, 10 min walk to shops and basin, 10 min walk to ocean, 20 min walk to plage de la garonne. Spacious garage where you can easily store (rented) bicycles, there is a table tennis table and several bodyboards. Marie, the concierge is extremely helpful. We rented e-bikes from Ferret Cycles, great bikes, good service and a very nice owner. In the entire 2 weeks we’ve stayed at Le Canon, we only used the car to go to Bordeaux..

Nous avons séjourné une semaine dans cette magnifique maison idéalement située et au calme. Nous avons apprécié la proximité des villages ostréicoles et des plages. La maison est parfaite pour une grande famille. Les espaces sont grands et la terrasse avec la piscine très agréable. Il n’y a aucun vis-à-vis car très arborisé. L’accueil et la communication avec les propriétaires a été excellente. Merci encore pour le panier garni offert à notre arrivée et les bons conseils pour profiter de notre séjour.

La maison est très belle et très agréable .Tout est fait pour que l’on s’y sente bien. Rien ne manque : cuisine extérieure, cheminée , Ping- pong , vélos. Elle est très bien placée sur la presqu’île, dans le charmant village du Canon. Pourtant elle est au calme et sans vis à vis. On a adoré notre séjour dans cette maison.

Villa très agréable au calme sans vis-à-vis et proche de l'océan, du bassin et des commerces

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans cette villa très fonctionnelle, dans un environnement apaisant. Rien ne manque, des couverts, verres (carafe à décanter,ce qui n'est pas si fréquent), assiettes, ustensiles et appareillage de cuisine, jusqu'à la machine Nespresso et au barbecue très pratique près de la grande table extérieure. La maison est très bien conçue, spacieuse, en parfait état de propreté et de fonctionnement. Nous étions en famille jusqu'à 9 personnes réparties dans 4 chambres disposant chacune de sa salle de bain ou douche et dressing, et donc très à l'aise. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants (une bourriche garnie d'un bocal de foie gras, de bouteilles de vins, de confiture et de gâteaux, nous attendait à notre arrivée). La piscine autour d'une terrasse en bois exotique avec des espaces suffisants, entourée de belles plantes, palmiers et pins, a été particulièrement appréciée (salon extérieur avec canapés et fauteuils, de même que transats en grand nombre permettant à chacun de trouver sa place). Nous étions dans un cocon à l'abri des regards du voisinage (aucun vis-à-vis même de la terrasse de la suite parentale) ce qui n'est pas le cas de toutes les villas aux alentours.Les draps et serviettes de bains fournis sont de bonne qualité, de même que la literie. Le petit village du Canon (côté bassin) avec tous les commerces nécessaires n'est qu'à quelques centaines de mètres et l'océan n'est pas non plus trop éloigné. On peut tout faire à pied, sachant également que plusieurs vélos sont mis à disposition. La maison dispose enfin d'un grand garage avec deux machines à laver, deux sèche-linge et un congélateur. Un petit bémol sur les interrupteurs dont l'affectation est un peu difficile à trouver au départ mais l'usage permet assez vite de s'y retrouver et cela reste un détail. La maison était parfaitement conforme à nos attentes, au calme, avec de beaux espaces de vie et de nuit.

Un accueil très chaleureux, une maison plus belle qu'en photo, une propreté irréprochable, de la piscine jusqu'à la table de ping pong, tout était absolument parfait pour notre séjour au Cap Ferret ! Nice holiday in Le Canon!

We spent a very nice week in Le Canon. The owners were very helpful and welcoming. They picked us up at the bus stop in Le Canon when we arrived an they even drove us to the hotel we were staying the last night before leaving the peninsula and France. We managed without a car because of all the bikes at our disposal. The house is modern, and well equipped. It is also well situated to explore the surroundings. The children enjoyed the swimming pool all day long! We hope to come back one day!
