The first night we got literally zero sleep. The toilet in our room was running constantly (that loud hissing/filling sound all night) and the wall-mounted AC unit was dripping water and making a loud rattling/gurgling noise every few minutes. On top of that, the mattress had a massive sag in the middle – it felt like sleeping in a hammock that was about to collapse.
We called maintenance first thing in the morning and explained the issues. They said someone would come “right away.” We left for the day assuming it would be fixed while we were out. Came back to the room at 11:00 PM – absolutely nothing had been done. Same running toilet, same leaking noisy AC, same collapsed bed. Called the front desk again and they just said “sorry, maintenance already went home for the night.” No offer of a room change, no apology, no solution. We had to stuff towels under the AC to stop the dripping and wear earplugs just to try and sleep. Second night wasn’t much better.
Save yourself the headache and book literally anywhere else. The Citrus Hotel is a hard pass. Management should be ashamed
