A proper old school English pub, the staff were friendly and welcoming, the food was absolutely superb too. We slept well, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast more than adequate. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect place to stay. Lovely pub & gardens. Room was great plenty of room with the added luxury of a small balcony overlooking the pub garden. Breakfast was great and although not needed they had reserved a seat for an evening meal which I thought was great.

We were overwhelmed with the friendliness and kindness of all the staff The breakfast menu seemed a bit restrictive but I was given yoghurt with lovely fresh fruit The gluten free toast cooked under the grill was lovely and they even filled my water bottle with lovely cold water from the bar The parking was good with a gate for guests from the car park
