All ok, had 2 rooms and were next to each other. Clean / warm / and plenty of tea & coffee. Pub was good plenty of seating with a pool table. Ideal to chill out after a lovely day in the Cotswolds. Bed was very comfortable.

Perfect position on the Path

Ideal for Thames Path walkers with a splendid garden overlooking the start of the navigable Thames. Chances are you'll get here early after the relatively short walk from Cricklade, so enjoy the bar and food offerings in the spacious pub building. The room was a comfortable twin with everything you need for an overnight stay, while being across the car park from the pub itself, so noise was not a problem. If you're thinking of making an early start in the morning for the longer stage to Newbridge, better to get a bacon roll from Budgens on the High Street, as breakfast is from 9am.
