Welcome to "Tumwater Retreat'. If you`re looking to relax and refresh in the heart of all the action, this condo is sure to suit you well. Nestled in the mountains just blocks away from downtown Leavenworth, it offers easy access to shops, dining opportunities, and wine-tasting venues.

The open-concept kitchen and dining area offer ample space for guest entertainment and the gas fireplace creates the ideal ambiance for a night in. Channel your inner chef in the fully stocked kitchen or enjoy the big game while snuggled up in the living room with your favorite vacationers.

When it comes time for bed, take a walk down the hallway, where you will find the primary bedroom with a king bed and its own private bathroom. A second bedroom offers a queen bed and is located within a few steps of the guest`s full bathroom.

If you are an avid outdoor enthusiast, there are so many year-round options available that there is no chance of disappointment. Head a few blocks away to Leavenworth Golf Course with your clubs or cross-country skis. Venture a little further and choose from a plethora of hikes up the Icicle River area or book a guided trip with a local whitewater rafting company on a hot summer's day. Visit the family-friendly Ski Hill Lodge and hop on a tube for some fun in the snow, then follow it up with a tasty cup of hot cocoa or refreshing adult beverage while warming up in front of the fire in the Chalet-style lodge. This was a great place for my family to stay during our trip to Leavenworth. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was great for saving a bit of money and cooking breakfast and dinner for ourselves. We especially liked the happy song the microwave sang when it was done!

Small but cozy 2 bedroom condo unit, on the bottom floor. It was nicely decorated for Christmas which was a pleasant surprise. There was even a small tabletop Christmas tree! Very thoughtful. Older construction, maybe 40 to 50 years old, primary evidence is that the shower is like those of the 70s and 80s in that it is narrower than today’s. The flooring in the kitchen/living room/dinette area has severe noise/squeaking issues. The heating was by multiple space heaters and they worked very well, we were always very warm while it was freezing outside. The beds are comfortable and we slept well. It is a good location, a 20 minute/half mile walk into town so you can avoid town parking problems if you’re so inclined.
