The Space:

Nestled in the trees for a feeling of privacy and wilderness, the Indian Paintbrush is just minutes to Historic Downtown Leadville. This 3 story, 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath house is ideal for the whole gang. The two bedrooms upstairs each have a queen bed. One of the bedrooms in the lower level has two sets of bunk beds; the other room has queen bed. There is also a futon and a pullout couch, bringing the total occupancy up to twelve guests. Separate living room and den areas offer lots of room to spread out and relax. This home provides WiFi & Roku (there is only 1 Smart TV in the home and that is located in the living room). Enjoy the ping-pong table as well. Bask in the sun year-round in the sunroom that runs the whole length of the house, letting in all the natural light and heat.

We had a large group visiting Leadville for a winter vacation and had to rent two(2) houses. The adult children stayed at this property while the parents were at another. The location of this house with the large windows provided wonderful views everyday! Loved that it was at the end of the road and the location was very quiet and peaceful. The house's amenities were as stated and we would stay here again.

Mountain ski getaway

Second time renting this house, and it was just as perfect 2 years later!!! We long the house with all of the natural light, great seating are and convenience to the ski resorts!!!

Comfortable stay in Leadville

Our party of 7 really liked this house. It is big and has everything you need. Ideal for families with teenagers since there is a clear separation between some of the living spaces. I only wish there was a bathroom or at least a toilet in the lower floor (basement)

Daughters 40th birthday weekend

Had a good size group come there with 4 wheeler's and side by sides. The kitchen was well stocked, the house was roomy for all of us and there was plenty of extra bedding. Really enjoyed being out on the porch. Asked for early check in and was allowed in early. Grandkids had fun playing pingpong and some of the board games.

Ski cooper trip

The property was close to Ski Cooper where we were skiing. We had to search for the closet that had the towels, but we did find it. The kitchen was well equipped, but some of the pans were difficult to clean. The grocery store was convenient. My biggest complaint was with the listing. The house is listed online as having three full baths. When we got there we realized it had two full baths and a half bath, so two couples had to share the upstairs bathroom. Three full baths was one of my primary criteria for selecting a property, and I didn’t appreciate the misinformation presented online.

Grandpas cabin needs some work

This house is so expensive, but doesn't merit the fee they charge. Internet was 1 MB up and 2 MB down. You can't even do emails. Its an old house with no ventilation so its stuffy all the time. The basement is where most of the beds are, and its even worse down there, smells like mold. There are dog scratch marks across the bathroom doors. The master bedroom light doesn't work. Beds are old and towels and sheets are scratchy. Would not repeat.
