Friendly staff and perfect location

Very friendly and helpful staff and perfect location. Room was very small, but view was amazing. Good breakfast, nice bed, right next to railway station and short walk to restaurants and sights.

Weekend in Hôtel La Villa Marine

Great stay in Hôtel La Villa Marine, comfortable room, friendly staff and a great, abundant breakfast for a reasonable price. Parking is limited, but there is paid parking nearby, at a reasonable cost for overnight stay whilst daily stay is a bit steeper. We had a great view over the tidal port and enjoyed the vicinity.

The room was ideal for our one night stay over and we loved the view from the large window. We was disappointed that when having pre dinner drinks, despite the restaurant being empty, we was told to move from the outside seating area to inside by the bar unless we was eating. We explained that we was unsure if we was eating at the hotel as was waiting for the menu. We was still told that we had to move with no menu being provided. After already waiting for 10 minutes despite four staff being in the area to be served a drink this made us decide to not eat there. We had toured various places in France over the previous 7 nights and had not experienced anything other than excellent and friendly staff and so was shocked by the staff in this hotel.

I arrived before the check in time and the doors were locked. I called the hotel because I had written them before arrival that I was hoping to store my bag until check in. When the woman answered the phone, she told me they were “closed.” Eventually, after some begging, she let me store my bag, but it was a very strange way to begin my stay. The room was comfortable but there was visible mold in the bathroom. They had smart tvs but they have a rule that you can’t use the smart tvs, even though they have internet, they are unable to connect to it. (No Netflix in this hotel.) The room has a kettle and instant coffee, but nothing to stir the coffee with.

Personnel pas aimable pas un bonjour Le petit déjeuner lamentable service jusqu'à 9.30 et z 9.00 plus rien et Biensur le personnel s en moque. Notre chambre a été aspirée 1 fois en 7 jours et la poubelle de SDB vidée 1 fois en 7 jours. La cabine de douche tous les joints son moisis et le miroir de courtoisie de la chambre nous arrivés il était couvert de tâches et a notre départ toujours pareil. Par contre les pauses clopes et café le personnel métrisé parfaitement. Plus jamais je n irai dans cette hôtel

Wanneer je geen Frans spreekt word je in het restaurant met de nek aangekeken jammer!! We hadden gereserveerd maar na de onvriendelijke ontvangst zijn we ergens anders gaan eten. Si vous ne parlez pas français, vous êtes ignoré au restaurant, quel dommage ! Nous avions réservé, mais après cet accueil désagréable, nous sommes allés manger ailleurs.
