Excellent hotel - the staff are the friendliest I have ever experienced at a hotel. They’re all incredibly attentive, polite and welcoming The hotel grounds are pristine and always kept that way - so much to do at both hotels (palace/turquoise) The buffet is very varied and there’s so many options every night. 11/10 would recommend to anyone

Pros: new and clean rooms, friendly staff, good choices at the buffet. Cons: they serve salty water, tea and coffee made with salty water, only 1 type of red wine, deluded orange juice; the specialty restaurants were booked out the entire time; there’s no way to swim at the beach it’s too windy

Quiet adult all inclusive, food and facilities great A Mecca for wind/kite surfing, so quite windy, but pool areas sheltered and you can find sheltered beach a short walk away Quiet in evenings, evening entertainments we're low budget affairs Food wine and spirits plentiful and good quality. Everything about this property exceeded our expectations. The hotel itself is beautiful, spotless, and thoughtfully maintained. The staff were warm, attentive, and always went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. A special thank you to Alexis, who made sure we always had our Masala Chai just the way we liked it — Highly recommend this hotel! As it’s in the south it was a little windy but a few minutes walk and it’s was perfect beach weather and less windy. Known for its kite surfers

Riu Palace provides good value for it's money but what made this place special was the staff and especially management. Smita and Manager, Vikesh went above and beyond to accommodate my group so we could have an enjoyable experience and the place quickly felt like home. The facilities are quite adequate with comfortable and modern accommodations, fun activities especially the nightly music at the Sega Stage, and the food options were pretty good! The location is great for those looking for peace and quiet and/or water sports. It is isolated if you're looking for more town life and will have to spend quite a bit on taxi fares to go into town and back.

Beautiful hotel in Le Morne. Building is new and in very good condition. The staff was amazing every time, from checkin to breakfast, lunch, dinner and bar service. Pools are nice and there are plenty of sunbeds around, in case the ocean is not welcoming. Food was very good, with plenty of choices. The RIU app is not the best, but that’s not something this hotel can fix.

We went on our honeymoon trip here, and we had the most amazing time! Everyone was super nice and friendly. The hotels taxis service was fantastic! We were able to see places on the island we wanted to at our own pace, with a private driver. Absolutely worth it.

My experience at the Riu Palace was exceptional. The staff were consistently warm and welcoming, and the bartenders in particular went out of their way to remember guests’ preferred drinks, which added a personal touch to the service. The food was enjoyable, and I appreciated the flexibility of being able to explore both sides of the resort. I occasionally visited the buffet on the all-ages side before returning to the adults-only area for another meal. It’s worth noting that the main restaurants operate on a first-come, first-served basis, so guests should plan accordingly. Overall, I had a phenomenal stay. However, I did encounter one unfortunate incident. On the day of a late excursion, housekeeping attempted to clean my room in the morning, but I had chosen to sleep in and asked them to return later. I left the room around 5:30 p.m., and upon returning at 7:30 p.m., I found the room had not been serviced. I contacted the front desk, and although I felt uncomfortable requesting cleaning around 8 p.m., I had already placed the used linens on the floor and hoped to have fresh ones upon my return. Regrettably, I made the mistake of leaving a bag with cash on the dresser rather than securing it in the safe. The next morning, I noticed approximately 6,000 rupees (about $132 USD) were missing. I did not report the incident to the front desk, as I acknowledged it was my responsibility to use the safe. For future travellers , I strongly recommend securing all valuables.
