Renter be forewarned
We stayed at this rental for nine nights. Enjoyed the sun, pool and quiet. BUT rent this house with following precautions:
1. Get geographic coordinates prior to driving to the house. There is no street address.
2. Communications: excellent owner responsiveness while making rental commitment. No responses day prior to arrival asking if we could drop off luggage early. Phone number provided for concierge incomplete so could not make contact. Only after calling vrbo did we finally get a response so we could find the house.
Concierge response rate extremely slow. Too often had to call vrbo to get a response from concierge and/or owner with questions/concerns.
3. Be prepared: roads to house are treacherous if you're not used to them. 4-wheel drive preferable.
4. House is long in the tooth, not as described on vrbo listing: it is cleaned appropriately, but everything is rusty, needing a paint job or even no longer in working condition. Washing machine never worked. Owner finally bought a new one, but didn't arrive before we left. If concierge had come to make it work, that would have been fine. BUT concierge never came or even offered to do so. We couldn't make TV work. Concierge offered to call to help after long wait for response. When he finally called, we were asleep and he never helped us after that. Oven symbols by knobs illegible making use difficult.
House likely was in good condition years ago. Now it needs an overhaul.
Grossly over priced.
