Our beautiful and well appointed and furnished house is full of local character and it is ideally situated in the calm part of Le Bois Plage, halfway between the best sandy beaches and the charming old harbour town of Saint Martin. It is well suited for you stay in all seasons, due to its location, comfortable furniture and fittings, central heating and open fire.
You will be comfortable as a party of 8 or 14, and you will enjoy the large patio and garden.

A wonderful week

We had a fantastic time staying at this gite, with three generations of our family. The house is well equipped and very comfortable - and has lots of space for bikes to be stored. It is a short cycle ride to Saint-Martin, to the centre of Bois-Plage (where there is a market every day during the summer) and to the beach. We would recommend the house to other large family groups!

Great location - you can ride by bike through v quiet streets to the centre of Le Bois Plage within 10 minutes; also to S Martin within the same amount of time, through vineyards. Also well placed to get to lovely beaches through great ride through pine forest, not more than 15 mins ish. Property is spacious, lovely big lounge and dining room, various choices of bedrooms. Nice big kitchen. We had a very enjoyable stay, in a typical Ile de Re house.

5 weeks multi-generational holiday

The property was perfect for the holiday we wanted. It was relaxed clean and big enough for our extended family and friends to holiday with us on varying weeks, over the 5 week period. The family who own the property were delightful to communicate with, and more than happy to help make our holiday an easy one. The property manager/contact was also very helpful and always there to answer any queries we had. If you are looking to hire bicycles then hire them in town. The bikes we hired via the property manager, had not been maintained. They were difficult to ride, one broke, another had a puncture! The cost was the same as those found in town, which we found to be well maintained and of a better quality. Having said that, nothing detracted from the wonderful time we had at the property and exploring the beautiful island. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone.

Delightful house, excellent for larger groups

This was our seventh visit to Ile de RĂ© but the first time we had stayed outside La Flotte. The house proved to be perfect for our needs as a group of 10 including six 18-21 year olds. The house is delightful and very well equipped. It is in a quiet location but only a short cycle ride to beaches, bars and restaurants. It is also very well positioned for exploring the island and we had two long days going from end to end. Communications with the owner were excellent. The local housekeeper had prepared the house and was waiting to welcome us. Her husband runs a cycle shop which made the hiring process very simple. All in all an excellent experience, enhanced by superb weather. Highly recommended.

Great Villa in a fabulous island

Our family spent a week here and everyone thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accommodation for our party of 9 adults and 2 children was really good. The facilities in the villa were excellent and we had everything we needed. One of the best parts was having a family evening meal around the big table in the courtyard, taking full advantage of the warn evening sun. This was our first visit to Ile De Re and I think we will be back. Everyone enjoyed cycling around the island - easily the best way to get around. We hired bikes from contacts provide by the owner and the bikes were there waiting for us. The only slight niggle was that the small room was a little smaller than we expected, useable, but a bit small for an adult. The layout is quirky and may not work for everyone, but did not take away from our enjoyment of what was a terrific holiday.

Logement idéal pour notre besoin

Nous Ă©tions un groupe de 10 amis pour un WE et nous avons vraiment apprĂ©ciĂ© la disposition des lieux, avec notamment une cour intĂ©rieure nous permettant de manger dehors confortablement. Les Ă©quipements (cuisine, plancha, 
) nous ont permis d’organiser nos dĂźners de façon optimale. Au niveau du couchage, la maison est vraiment bien organisĂ©e. Si vous n’ĂȘtes que des adultes, aucun pb pour les courts sĂ©jours. En outre, la propriĂ©taire est charmante (contact e-mail uniquement) et la personne gĂ©rant sur place est vraiment sympathique.

Une petite bulle de soleil !

TrÚs beau gßte, agréable à vivre avec plein d'ouvertures et de lumieres naturelles dans toutes les piÚces ! En dehors de la plancha gaz qui nous a fait défaut (les précédents occupants ont négligé de le signaler à la propriétaire), le sejour fut trÚs sympa avec un beau temps au RDV et donc de bons moments à profiter de la terrasse. Hébergement proche de la plage (30 min à pieds).A recommander !

La maison est charmante, tous s'est trĂšs bien passĂ© ! À noter cependant : la chambre cabine est indĂ©pendante et n'est pas reliĂ©e aux autres chambres, tout comme le dortoir. Ils donnent bien sur la cour principale de la maison, donc parfait pour les enfants autonomes mais pas pour les tout petits. La maison sinon est idĂ©alement situĂ©e, beaucoup de place pour ranger les vĂ©los, la cuisine est bien Ă©quipĂ©e, nous avons passĂ© un super sĂ©jour !
