Industrial area with limited food offerings nearby and no pharmacy/ quick shops close (except Costco). Interior hallways were updated and fresh. Elevator shows it's age. Bedrooms are serviceable but not noteworthy. Small TV, no closet, decent sized dressers, ample lighting, good blackout curtains. Downside was lumpy/ squeaky bed, wall HVAC, off tub stopper, and noise from adjacent Burger King. Staff was helpful. JFK shuttle was punctual and clean.
If you just need sleep on a layover and aren't picky about food, this spot will do the trick at about $200-225 less than TWA hotel.
