Our new chalet, “Amira,” offers you and your family a completely carefree vacation in the beautiful Lauwersoog vacation park, located right next to the Lauwersmeer National Park, with its gently sloping sandy beach and sunbathing area. The Wadden Sea, a World Natural Heritage Site, is within walking distance. Playgrounds, an indoor play area, and a water play area provide plenty of varied activities for the children. A children’s entertainment program is also offered during the season. There are numerous excursion options, such as a boat trip to the island of Schiermonnikoog, the fishing village of Zoutkamp, the tea factory in Houwerzijl, the charming town of Dokkum, the Waddenfun Adventure Park in Wehe-den Hoorn, the Pieterburen Seal Center, and the lively and picturesque city of Groningen. These are just a few highlights from the wide range of activities available. Rent a boat, take a course at one of the local surf schools, go on a Land Rover safari through the national park, or enjoy a mudflat hike to refresh your mind and soul.
The park features a restaurant with a large lakeside terrace, a supermarket, and a bike rental service. Be sure to try the freshly caught fish at the various restaurants along the harbor.
Our chalet, which includes parking, is centrally located in the park yet still offers complete privacy.
Our chalet sleeps a total of 6 people, with 4 single beds and one double bed. Pets are allowed in the accommodation.
