Nature destruction and terrible costumer service

The place wasn't in terrible but the people working there were terrible. The woman at the front desk tried to charge me an extra 380 dollars for an extended check out when it clearly states on the website it is an extra charge of 80. The waiters at each spot in their eating areas were trying to flirt with my friend and I, asking for our social media and making inappropriate comments. The rooms were in good conditions and the space is large but it does seem like whoever built the hotel demolished the mangroves that were there to built a giant “foot island”. The lack of sustainable construction becomes apparent because during the day it is low tide and the mud that should be covered with mangrove are exposed, terrible for the ecosystem!!

Stunning villa with lovely modern bathrooms and great bedding, directly on the beach. We loved the plunge pool, loungers and hammock with perfect views of the sunset over the Mamanuca Islands. A lovely spot to stay with family and friends the night before my flight.

This property has a fabulous relaxed vibe and the natural surroundings and leafy atmosphere make it a nice oasis amongst the industrial area it is located in. It overlooks the water and the restaurant and bar is so nice to sit at in the evenings and listen to the band play over dinner and drinks. The fairy lights are great. The service staff are what make the property special. The waiters, waitresses, room service attendants, kids activities co-ordinator and bar staff really make the property a lovely place to stay. Reception staff we dealt with could take some tips from the service staff in regard to friendliness, but they're polite nonetheless. The short spa treatment we had was lovely and the spa was very relaxing. The porter was a lovely man who made us feel very welcome. The scheduled activities are fun and engaging especially for kids and Miriam the kids activities co-ordinator was a beautiful, friendly lady who the children seemed to love. The oceanfront spa bure we stayed in was clean, neat and tidy. The linens could do with replacement, they're a bit yellow rather than white. It was still really comfortable and we enjoyed a couple of days relaxing here. Overall, the room was very dated and in need of a makeover, the bathroom especially. The bathroom and the vanity was a great size with plenty of mirrors. The screened verandah is fabulous to keep the mozzies out. It was a pleasant resort to stay. The staff are the stand out!
